Matthew Wilson is consistently recognized as one of Georgia’s leading trial attorneys. Since 2014, Matthew has helped clients across Georgia recover more than $19.5 million.
With extensive knowledge in personal injury litigation, Matthew brings invaluable expertise to each case. Matthew represents families in wrongful death cases, individuals injured in vehicle collisions or slip and falls, and victims of crime. He also has broad experience in complex civil litigation and defense of attorneys and judges facing disciplinary actions.
Beyond his deep legal knowledge, Matthew’s public service and political experience set him apart. Before law school, Matthew taught sixth graders in a low-income public school through Teach For America. From 2019 to 2022, Matthew served in the Georgia House of Representatives, representing diverse communities in the Atlanta metropolitan area. Together with his continued service outside of elected office, this background allows Matthew to help his clients effectively navigate Georgia’s many halls of power.
Matthew and his husband live in the Kirkwood neighborhood of Atlanta and are members of All Saints’ Episcopal Church.
